You do not need an agency retainer to fix the majority of local visibility problems. You need to work through the list below in order and stop guessing.

Foundations

Get these right before anything else — they gate every other improvement.

  • HTTPS everywhere and a single canonical version of the domain
  • Business name, address and phone number identical on the site, the profile and every directory
  • A contact page and an about page that a stranger can find in one click
  • LocalBusiness schema with postal address, geo coordinates and opening hours

Content that earns local relevance

Create one focused page per service and per served city. Combine service and city naturally in the heading, and describe the area in a way only a local would.

Technical hygiene

Fix Core Web Vitals on mobile first, keep titles and meta descriptions unique, publish a sitemap, and remove accidental noindex tags.

Then measure

Run an audit, fix the critical items, and re-run it a month later. Improvement you can see is improvement you can sell to a client or a boss.

Audit your own website in minutes

Score your local, technical and GEO visibility signals and get a prioritised action plan.
